Silhouette Series

This is a series of photographs shot and printed the traditional way with film and a dark room. They have been scanned and not retouched with any software. I presented these in 6"x6" squares horizontally as my final project in Creative Photography. Enjoy.

My Top 5 - School Projects

Okay, so there may be more than 5 here but I felt like sharing so enjoy the little piece of extra. These are some school projects I've completed at CSUF. See the descriptors for more info. (disclaimer: yes, I have issues taking flat photographs)
Point-of-Sale Illustration. Traditional Illustration with Hala Swearingen. Purpose: Advertise cosmetic products made completely from organic materials. 
Pen & Ink, Watercolor wash. 2011



 Editorial Caricature. Traditional Illustration. Purpose: illustrate a famous person with caricature-like features. Can you guess who this is?
Acrylic, Pen & Ink. 2011


Narrative Illustration. Traditional Illustration. Purpose: depict a classic fairytale by changing the main subject into an animal and changing an element of the story. Paul Bunyan as a goat chopping down palm trees in the tropics rather than in the forest.

Illustrated artist quote. Typography B with Brian Bouskill. Purpose: Illustrate a quote from an artist, interpretively, not obviously.

Font Poster. Typography C with Daniel Sorrell. Purpose: Create a poster for an established font using letter only letter forms and including a bit about the typeface's history.
